The room was extremely spacious and spotless, provided with a massive bed and a separate shower in the bathroom. the breakfast was very good and outstanding, with a vegan option and had everything you could want. the hotel's location was marvelous and stunning, close enough to a Michelin restaurant as well as a local pub.

Great staff and service - they really do provide the warmest welcome in the world! The food at the Red Lion Pub & Bistro is excellent, as too was the decor, atmosphere and ambience. The hotel rooms and facilities are excellent. It is clear a lot of thought and expense has gone into the build quality and furnishing. Location is good too set out in the countryside but with Bakewell, Tideswell, Chesrterfield, Matlock Bath all fairly close by car.

This place is great! the staff here are super friendly and helpful. I stayed in a spacious modern room with a private bathroom that had a hairdryer, a big walk-in shower, and fluffy bath towels. It cost me £174, but it was worth every penny! 🌟

Staff were friendly, welcoming and willing to go the extra mile to make our stay as happy as possible. The room was stylish, modern and had a great view. The bed was extremely comfortable and the ensuite bathroom had a luxury feel to it, with a very accommodating shower! Although our original room was not ready on arrival, staff were quick to resolve the problem and were happy to provide any information on future stays at the Peak Edge. Great venue for weddings and other functions with improvements to the restaurant.
The restaurant did not live up to the hotel's standards. The wait on food was longer than necessary with a quiet restaurant and the quality of food did not always match the menu's description. As a result of this there was little value for money, especially when paying £2.50 for fresh veg, which was essentially frozen peas. Nevertheless, staff were all friendly and the surroundings were welcoming, but the food did not live up to expectation and could benefit from a downscaled menu.

New, spacious, beautifully appointed, friendly and helpful staff. A lot has been put into making these rooms a pleasure to stay in- topped by a delicious breakfast. Pub and restaurant are in the same location so that works beautifully. Only 3 months open- they do need chairs/ sofas in the rooms- but this is being arranged! We did get a very good price but whatever - I would fully recommend the Peak Edge Hotel ed on all accounts.
